Built for Clover POS

Every ticket, to the right printer, automatically.

EZ Printer connects your Star, Epson, or any network thermal printer to Clover and fires kitchen tickets the moment an order is saved or a guest pays — large text the kitchen can actually read, split-check aware, zero button taps required.

What it does

The smartest way to manage printing on your Clover.

EZ Printer replaces the manual print workflow with a background service that knows when to fire, which printer to use, and how to format every ticket so the kitchen can actually read it.

The core

Tickets fire themselves — the moment it matters

The instant a server saves an order or a guest completes payment, EZ Printer fires the right printers automatically. No button taps, no running to the printer app, no cold food waiting on a forgotten ticket.

Multiple printers, each with its own trigger

Add a Star TSP100 for bar receipts, an SP700 for the hot line, a thermal printer up front for customer copies. Each printer has its own rule — fire On Save, After Payment, or both.

Split-check smart

When guests pay individually, every guest's ticket prints with the right items and correct tax lines — automatically. No missed prints, no zero-tax surprises at closing.

Kitchen-optimized ticket format

Order numbers print at double-width double-height. Item names are bold and double-tall so cooks read them from across the line — not squinting at receipt-sized text mid-rush.

Every major thermal brand, over WiFi

Star TSP100 series (StarPRNT), Star SP700 impact printers (ESC/POS), Epson TM series, Rongta, and any ESC/POS-compatible network printer. Connected over your existing WiFi — no USB, no drivers, no printer server.

Runs silently in the background

EZ Printer is a background service, not a screen you open. It attaches to Clover's order system at startup and stays there — surviving app switches, Register sessions, and split checks without missing a beat.

The flow

Set it once. Print forever.

Install & connect

EZ Printer installs from the Clover App Market and runs as a background service. Add your printers by IP address — any printer already on your WiFi is ready in seconds.

Set the trigger

Choose when each printer fires: when the server saves the order, when a payment clears, or both. Two minutes of setup, one screen.

Take the order

Use Clover Register exactly as you always do. EZ Printer listens in the background — nothing changes for your staff.

Tickets print themselves

The right printers fire at the right moment. Kitchen gets a large-text ticket with guest sections clearly marked; front gets the receipt. Every time, automatically.

Privacy by architecture

Your network, your printers, your data.

EZ Printer runs entirely on the Clover device and sends tickets directly to printers over your local WiFi. There is no cloud relay, no subscription printing service, and no external server that ever sees your order data.

  • ✓Tickets travel device → printer over your local network — never through the internet
  • ✓Order data stays inside your Clover account — EZ Printer only reads, never stores
  • ✓No analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no tracking identifiers
  • ✓Payments handled exclusively by Clover Register — never in-app
